Michael Harrington, Chairman

Michael has a PhD in Science from Manchester University and has worked in the publishing and information industry since 1988. Specialising in business-to-business publishing, he has been involved in a number of highly successful ventures, including management buyouts and acquisitions.

Colin Bailey-Wood

Colin Bailey-Wood, Managing Director

Colin graduated with a degree in History in 1982 and his first full-time publishing position was in advertising sales in 1985 with UTP, a publisher of industrial business-to-business magazines. Colin held a number of sales management roles and publisher roles through to 1992. In 1992 a management buyout saw him appointed Joint Publishing Director of the new company's products and 1998 he was appointed Managing Director of Quest a subsidiary of Wilmington Media Ltd specialising in the drinks, cosmetics and travel retail markets. In August 2008 Wilmington Group sold WML and Colin became CEO of the new company Progressive Media Markets and oversaw its successful transition and integration into the Progressive Media Group, before leaving in 2008 to join HPCi.

Steve Maller, as smart as he ever gets

Steve Maller, Chief Information Officer

Steve has worked in electronic publishing since 1982. His teletext system was used by ITN for the 1983 general election. In 1984 he helped develop systems for the first UK company to sell online information. In 1991 he established and led the technology department at a small start-up called MAID systems Ltd which sold market research online. As IT Director Steve helped steer the company through an IPO, a secondary NASDAQ flotation, some major acquisitions and past the Y2K deadline to become the market leader. He left in 2000 to become CTO of Yell.com. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.
